Hi ,I have a 1960s sea queen that had a merco 61 in just doing it up for my grand son any ideas for electric motor speed controller and battery setup don't need anything to perfect he is only 10 years old just something to get it up and planning thanks for any replies ,regards Allan

Most of the Sea Queen’s that I have seen run happily on an 850 brushed motor. Not expensive and easy to find new (and often used) at a good price.
