I visited the pond at Sheringham today and found the water to be clear and weed free so next weekends event is looking good
I also visited the Norwich pond on my way home . Sadly the water was very green and had no visibility at all , I could not establish how much weed was in the pond so I decided not to attend the Norwich submarine event scheduled for this weekend , I only live about two miles away and have decided not to waste my fuel as in my opinion the pond is not suitable for submarines

I had a mate that lives in Norwich check the pond for me last night , he confirmed your comments, , thanks for saving me a lot of driving time and money
