bristol bay gillnetter
« on: November 14, 2023, 09:25:29 am »

one of my latest projects  is a Bristol bay 'Alaska' gill netter   the full size boats are a only 32ft loa  and are very agile!!   with a 1000hp  c18 cat engine

the model ;  first had to be cut down  in length '10inches cut off in total {-)  ' for 1;16th scale  as this was the scale i  was working with   then i added a tunnel at the stern  'to house the rudder & prop'  the rest i built from some photos and  videos on you tube  :-))

drive for the model is  a 700bb turbo 8.4v  &a 9.6v  5000mah nimh  battery pack   'i have a brushless set up but have not tried it yet! :o
