Paint finish and colour for engine bay
« on: January 06, 2024, 03:50:38 pm »

Hello
Looking for suggestions on how to finish the inside of the engine bay of my "Craker Box"
It will be fitted with a (model) quarter-scale V8 engine, and maybe a few small leds to add a bit of "bling".
At the moment it's finished internally with clear epoxy, but Im not 100% happy with the finish inside, a few holes needed filling so a paint finish would hide these "errors"
Color suggestions and type of paint would be appreciated, probably will be brush painted.
Thanks.

"Im not 100% happy with the finish inside" - do you mean the surface or the colour?

( NB: for any engine bay, i always recommend, white.... easier to spot things fallen off or going wrong! )   O0

Thanks, Martin
Not happy with the color - its natural but epoxy-coated.
Here is an early picture, sides and decking are now fitted.
