Had a member of public come down with this. Their dad had it, who lived in Poole.
About 40" long, glass hull, plastic and top.

Looks like it might be a passenger cargo short sea/coastal steamer of 1920's vintage. Not a very distinctive funnel colour though which makes identification difficult.

Although the model looks like it has been tweaked, the fore mast has is too short, and the aft cabin maybe was added for radio gear to be fitted, and now, with the funnel marking I think it is based on the ship line "Compagnie de Navigation Fraissinet"

Hi Phil, what cannot be seen is front and rear are 2 telescopic aerials acting as masts. The funnel had a a Smit logo on it.
She has nit been cleaned and  resprayed

Whilst merchant ships are not my thing, its rather a nice looking model and good to see its going to get a new life.

At present she has just been painted, greased prop shaft, and today, weds 13th she will have sea trials
