Julie M Deans KIt

Julie M

This is the initial version of the Deans Marine Service Craft kit which contains a higher proportion of wood construction than the current version.

It makes up into an attractive model, Scale 1/35 Length 762mm Beam 120mm. sailing weight 1.75kgs.

It is the original Model Boats review kit and has always been kept in a box in a dry environment.

It has not been sailed very often as I tend to spend more time building than running my boats, but the batteries have been regularly charged. No warranty is given on the batteries which can be readily replaced when necessary.

The small motor is controlled by an ACTion P79 Esc and has separate 3700 and 1600 NiMH battery packs for power and the receiver.

Performance is quite adequate and in keeping with the prototype and the model is very responsive to the rudder. It looks very elegant on the pond.

An Accoms 2.4 GHz Techniplus two channel TX is included together with a charging lead which can be used for either battery sets via on deck charging sockets.

Pickup from Cranleigh, near Guildford, Surrey or I can deliver within a 30 mile radius for the cost of the fuel.

If there is no interest on here then it will probably go to eBay.

PRICE £120

Not intended as bumping  or contravening the MBM Sale Rules, however just a simple observation......
This Julie M vessel looks absolutely superb on the water Colin  :-))
