Can anyone identify this boat?
« on: June 11, 2024, 04:10:22 am »

Title says it all:

Yesterday I bought a fuel boat with a 2.5 cc engine from Kyosho. That engine is not that bad, but I think it has seen its best days. It looks like there were never any stickers or paint on the fuselage, and it looks somewhat dated.I don't have any hatches or covers, so it's a bit difficult for me to look for pictures. Hull still seems to be in fairly good condition, see no traces of discoloration or brittleness. Does anyone recognize this thing? Coincidentally, I still have an electric-start, water-cooled, never-used Force 2.5 cc lying around, which (how predictable) will probably also run on petrol if I ask it to, nicely... For now I would just like to know which boat, which manufacturer this is...

Answer found: It is a Graupner Wave Explorer, and never was intended as a wet fuel boat...
