Which wire to cut on receiver
« on: July 29, 2024, 03:26:49 pm »

Hi. Ok I have a problem. I was sure that if running two speed controllers you needed to cut the live wire on one of them. Ok I cut the wire like a fool and now it does not work. So which wire do you need to cut when running two speed controllers. Thanks.

Just remove the RED wire from one of the plugs that go from the ESC to the receiver, Don't cut it just fold it back and tape it you may want to use the esc for something else at a later date.

Hi rather than cut on the esc, I always use an extension lead with a cut red wire and put that between the esc and the receiver. I have had trouble removing pins and especially getting the pin back and stay in place.
Extension leads are cheap (by the dozen)!
