A Boat Stand (but not as we know it)
« on: September 17, 2024, 11:54:49 am »

I made this thing at work with the intentions of putting a very large scale model on it, which now isn’t happening. As such, I have no need for it. It’s made entirely from laser cut 3mm aluminium, with two solid bars welded to the top. Needs some pipe lagging to protect the hull.

Measures 2’ long by 5” between the bars. Ideal for a 72nd RN warship.

Collection from Northampton. Obviously this is one of one, was a right faff to make and I’ll never make another so when it’s gone that’s it. I couldn’t put a price on it as A: it cost me nothing and B: it’s probably worth around £200 in labour and manufacturing costs.
