I bought this kit a couple of years ago as I had one that I bought ready-built a few years earlier and it has been my most-used model ever since. I decided that it would eventually wear out, so wanted to build a replacement. Unfortunately, my arthritis is making it difficult to do any model making now.
The kit is complete with a pair of geared brushed motors coupled to the props (Robbe Navy Compact) and all the other fittings as originally supplied with the kit.
I have had a lot of pleasure with my ready-built one, and it is very manoeuvrable using a mixer in the Tx to allow the motors to turn independently or together. The model is very impressive on the water (I was running it on the water at this year's Mayhem in the early summer).
The kit consists of large ABS mouldings for the hull, deck & superstructure, so should be a fairly quick build.
The kit comes in its original large box, which I am reluctant to post, so the buyer could collect from just outside Witney in West Oxfordshire, or we could meet at a mutually agreed location.
I am asking £240 for this kit with the fittings.
