Hi Ormer

I love my Bingo, still, I took out the standard motor and fitted a speed 480 in mine, this meant a change to the supplied speedcontroller, I just put in a cheap ripmax volcano (don't get water on it though).  I soon wanted more speed and my local model shop were selling Irvine 480 cobalt motors cheap (£11), It now has an 11 turn cobalt motor and is really fun to drive, fast and responsive on 6 Sanyo 1400 cells, giving about 8mins run time on a 26mm bingo race prop, I have proped it up but the power and torque tend to send the boat spinning.

If you wanted to go brushless then a Mega 16/15/3 or Feigao 380 11L would be good, but you would have to keep the prop size down.

Hope this helps
