SL BAT
« on: January 07, 2025, 01:22:22 pm »

Hello !
First of all , I wish you all an Happy good year and a fantastic one in building , boiling , steaming and smoking !
The last night of 2024 being away , the road is safer ! I don't know on your side , but here , driving is very dangerous as when the new year's eve is over , there  is drunken men leaving their wife driving !  O0 %%
KBIO ! You'll never change !!

To start this year , I would like to know how many SL BAT exist in our world. This launch is wonderull and aprt from the one in Windermere Museum , mine , and the one of our friend BernhardB , I do not know any. I know there is some on the shelves and a very few sailing, so if you know any , please let us know here. Below are some pics:
The one of the museum , mine , then BerhardB , .... please complete.

Love the planking and details, that is a stunning boat, thank you for sharing. I am aware of a pair of BATs that were built, maybe someone on the forum can shed light on them

Going back to the early 90's, a beautiful example was built by a Mr Brown from Essex. This was featured in the Model Boats magazine. I have no idea who owns it now.
