FOR SALE FLEET DIGIFLEET TX/RX
« on: December 16, 2024, 01:37:58 pm »

For sale I have a FLEET Digifleet 40mhz transmitter 5 chanel [I think] 6 x 40mhz receivers some with the rare blue plugs [so I am told] and 5 compatible old Ripmax Futaba servos that were given to me some years ago by the widow of a friend.
I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IF ANY OF IT ALL WORKS, but am sure that one of you electronic's genii can make it so as a working vintage set..........i have no idea. All money including my postage will be donated to Fleetwood RNLI AND COPY OF RECEIPT will be shown.
I HAVEN'T  a clue as to what it all is worth and should it all work i presume a decent lot.

So I am offering it at £50.00p with all proceeds to the RNLI unless some one thinks its worth more and would like to pay more. If you still have a cheque book then please pay by such putting the recipient as RNLI FLEETWOOD BRANCH.

Thank you.

If I can help, the blue plugs have the red and the black wires swapped so not compatible with standard servos.

But it is an excellent set and with the extra rx's can be a stand alone.  The TX looks possibly 6 channel if the slides either side of the on/off switch are blanks, then 5 or if slide switches 2 more channels and the tall switch on the left top of Tx. looks like the built in mixer, which all works very well.

Depending on date of manufacture, inside there are set ups for several models and the throw per channel is also controlled from within.
I have 2 sets and they are very good and still in use.

Perhaps i can help a bit more, i have a very similar set still in use, its a superbly built outfit. Using modern servos is no problem, just swap the leads into the plugs round, it only takes a couple of minutes per servo.
Anyone building or planing a submarine should snap this up, or anyone not fussed about having the latest gear but likes quality stuff. The only likely issue will be the old rechargeable batteries in the tx, these are very easy to change if you can solder.

Hi I use the transmitter but use Futaba and Hitec FM rx's and this solves the servo problem.  It is all fully compaitible and the Tx. case a joy to hold as it is modelled after the old Futaba M3 series.  40 Mhtz FM crystals are still easy to get with virtually all the frquencies available.
Do not buy AM crystals they do not work in FM sets.

Hey Neil

What a brilliant idea, I have a collection box in our shop for the RNLI but this is another revenue source for them.
This weekend I will peruse my workshop stock to see what I can get for the RNLI to list and the same chq's made out to the RNLI.

I do from time to time think I will list that but won't make much, now it does not matter as at least the RNLI will benefit.

Well done.
