Right let’s kick this off!!!

Who’s coming and joining in? Lots of fun guaranteed (even if it’s just me falling in the lake again!).
Bring and Buy tables
Traders- new one this year The Dorset Print Man, along with our fantastic trade supports Deans Marine and Palaform.
We will be celebrating VE Day with a military vessel sail past.
Martin and the Mayhem ladies (Ruth and Gina) will be providing tea and coffee
The Wicksteed Ladies will be selling bacon and sausage baps/rolls/cobbs (or whatever anyone calls a sandwich these days

)
Free Sailing all day
Unfortunately no IC demos this year but Phil I’m sure will put on his best display of straight running!
Reminder than we have discounted Camping this year- let me know when you’ve booked and I’ll contact the park with your details to extend your stay- essentially buy one night- get the next free.
Parking in the big field close the lake, we have reserved parking for those with blue badges.
And I’m sure I’ve forgotten stuff but here’s a poster!

Car park payment details will be displayed through out the site and the Mayhem car park area permits will be on here by end of the week for you to print off. We will have spares at the entrance to the car park area.

Reminder

We have discounted camping, if you wish to take advantage of this deal please message me after you’ve booked your booking reference number and vehicle registration. I will pass on these details to the park campsite manager and she will extend your booking by the required amount of nights.
Essentially if you book Friday night we can extend you in to Saturday night free of charge. We just need to know if you wish to take advantage of it.

I was planning to go this year for my first time, but daughter beet me to it, telling me last night, that she will be away herself, and so have to [no hardship, but we don't leave her with anyone] baby sit our lovely little pug, who is 11, 3 days later................and I bought a new lifeboat off ebay the other night to sail there, which I'm collecting this Sunday from the east coast near Kingston upon Hull, .........oh well, never mind.

So may be lucky next year.

Yes, you will, they will be put on here by Monday for people to print off or alternatively we will have a limited number preprinted to issue at the car park entrance each day.

So some updates/news

Traders confirmed in attendance this year so far:

Dean’s Marine- showcasing new models and refurbished kits ( if you want something bringing let Ron know and he will bring it)

Palaform (Sunday only)- all your Hovercraft wants and needs

The Dorest Print Man- displaying 3D printed fittings/deck vehicles and a RC HMS Queen Elizabeth aircraft carrier

Another confirmation today is from Mike Allsop aka Flag Man- he will be at Model Boat Mayhem at Wicksteed on Saturday 24th only for all your flag needs. If you haven’t seen these spectacular ensigns before they are the most realistic and accurate flags that I know of.
If you want to make use of the camping discount mentioned in previous posts please let me know asap- last date that I will accepting details to pass on to the park will be next Saturday to allow them to process them and for me to check on your behalf.

I’m in the process of making a parking permit to allow access to the Mayhem parking area near the lake, should hopefully be up tonight or by the latest of tomorrow evening.

Important info for campers:

All confirmed regarding extensions using the discount- everyone who has booked and given me your details you will receive a confirmation email shortly telling you that your stay has been extended by the relevant amount of time. Please pick up your arrivals package from reception (except for those who have arranged for late arrivals) and we are in Field 1 which is cordoned off for our use (located first first on the left as you enter the campsite). Please abide by all speed limits- 10mph on roads 5 mph on grass, and no crossing the railway crossing once the train is active by vehicle.
You can leave vehicles and caravans in the campsite cordoned off area on the Sunday to avoid struggling to park a caravan or motor home in the Mayhem car park area.
Please let me know if you have any questions and hope to see you there. I’m there from Friday in campsite, Klunk and Steamboat Phil will be from Thursday. Enjoy
