Hello


Can someone of you guys point me to where to find information how the propulsion should be set up?
I have purhased a second handed Edda flora and gone start to fix it for the season, everything is mounted but I have to install mine own radio, I want to control them with one stick since theres 2 bowthrusters and looking for info how the blades should be angled for forward/backward and left and right.

If you have a proportional Knob on your transmitter, then I would consider making that your throttle.
Then you have the two joysticks free to control the pitch on each drive. That will give you the most 
control and maneuverability using the VS drives.

If you have one of those dual stick throttle transmitters just laying around, Like the F14 marine, then
The dual sticks would control the forward and reverse pitch of each drive, and then gang the steering, rudder,
stick to the steering of both drives. Throttle has it's own proportional channel. That is how I run my VS driven fire boat.

For Throttle, you can get away with a forward only ESC. As Pitch control on the VS drives gives you directional control.

With my Graupner Parat tug I use both sticks, one for the right drive and one for the left. The ability to fully control both drives seperately allows for the tug to move sideways as well as the normal steering. (It needs one drive in forward and one in reverse plus left or right steering to suit, tricky to get right but works well with practice.) Very useful when docking on a steering course. This setup does need both sticks to work together for forward and reverse as if you are using tank steering. One slight problem is the servo positioning to the drives is not in the best alignment so straight foward always has a bit of turn mixed in, easily counteracted using differential thrust between sticks, I found the left stick needs a little less forward than the right.
