If it's sent by SHIP, it's a CARGO.
If it's sent by ROAD then it's a SHIPMENT.

In logistics, "cargo" refers to the goods being transported, while "shipment" refers to the process of transporting those goods. Cargo is a more general term for the merchandise on a vehicle, while shipment often implies a specific instance of transporting goods from one location to another. Hope this helps!

Cargo is the breakdown completion document from the automobile association.
A shipment is something you urgently need delivered to the wrong address in the wrong town

How about another term to mull over, when ever i loaded cargo out of a ship into a smaller vessel, we used to go and get a bill of Lading from the vessel before we could leave.
