I googled "bushel" in the hope that I could find one big enough to hide my light under, but alas - 't was to no avail. One size does NOT fit all  8)

Keep taking the tablets, Daz - and thanks for the kind words, Alan. You'll have gathered I found a reel of 3-wire PVC servo cable in the nick of time!

Ordered some flags from READE PLASTICS and made an enquiry about some one off decorative art work.

Great, friendly response and promptly sourced what I needed and posted it to me promptly.

Thanks to Malcolm Reade.

I would also like to thank Dave of  ACTion R/C Electronics for his time, his patience and his incredibly fast service in relieving me of my money in exchange for a box of black art goodies.

Hope the instructions are as clear as they appear.

Thanks Dave.

Don't know if this would be the correct place to post this but I will and want to say to  PMK

Thank you

I enquired if it was possible to modify one of his designs to my spec, he not only redid the work and post that to me so I could build the unit but he also told me where to get all the parts required.

PMK  :-)) :-)) unit arrived and I went to the RNLI and did what I said. it has the same footprint as my original so fitting will be a doddle,

This forum is just crammed with a plethora of kind helpful informative people.

Full  "Marks" to these two!

Mark Windless from MMB. I sent back a faulty Smoke unit and it was returned within two days in full working order.

Mark Williams from A Model World who again, has given me the best price for an Imara kit, motors, ESC's and RX.

My thanks to both

To underline DickyD's experience with Componentshop, ordered 5 batteries yesterday pm, they arrived this morning, less than 24hrs later for a very reasonable £2 p&p.

I've proven to myself on numerous occasions that Componentshop sell a high quality product - at VERY good prices.

Highly recommended!

I will also join you on that one Rob (and Daz). I have bought battery packs from him in this past, and can only speak highly of his technical advice and service.

I don't how the man does it...yesterday morning I emailed himself about an electronic gizmo to control the ballast pump in my X craft, he suggested the best one for the job, I paid for it, and it arrived here not five minutes ago.

Chap...that is pretty good going by anyone's standards. Thanks boss....
