I would like to add Graham Walker at The Model Dock to this growing list, following a telephone conversation regarding the Revell Hermann Marwede conversion I sent off my cheque at the weekend for the motor, shafts and rudder. They arrived today along with a photo copy of the model boats article on carrying out the conversion. The service is first class and Graham is a friendly and helpful person to speak to.

Will definitely buy from Graham again.

I lost the anchor from my Caldercraft Cumbrae recently. Couldn't be bothered  to scratch build a replacement so I emailed JoTika direct enquiring about a replacement. Got an instant response, cost reasonable. Sent off cheque and they sent the spare as soon as they got my letter and cheque. Can't fault that.

A Model World.

Order received a.m. Monday, Kit delivered lunchtime Tuesday. (I build kits!)

Mark was very helpful and prepared to spend time passing on building tips for my new Comtesse.

Terrific!

Westbourne Models.   Wanted 20 couplings for club members, spoke to WM on the phone.   Said would take 2 to 3 weeks to order from Graupner and send on to me.   Got the whole lot 2 days later!

I think Dave at ACTion has broken all records with this one. So much so that I had to announce it on the forum.

I posted my order and cheque yesterday afternoon - that is Easter Monday and there are no post collections in this area - The parts arrived this morning!

Superb service and I KNOW that the parts will be fine.

BRILLIANT!

Ordered a back number from Model Boats, over the weekend.
Email next day to say they didn't have it but offered a photocopy of the article,Emailed me again to say that the article wasn't in the issue I mentioned, and even contacted John Cundle to check if it existed,

Anyway I've some bum info and the one subject doesn't exist.

Emailed Traplet twice now over three weeks not had a reply

George Turner - www.georgeturnermodels.com.

Always gives quick service and is very friendly. Best of all, when I knocked the pulley off the front of my boat he sent 2 next day as replacements and didn't charge for them.

I would heartily endorse Phil's comment about George Turner models

Fast, cheerful and responsive - his figures make you smile, too!

A good place to hunt for crew members

OK not much impresses me, but yesterday at approx 10-20 am I rang Howes models to order more batteries, crystals, and a few other bits and bobs for the Mayhem weekend. Blimey they arrived this morning, so just about 24 hrs.
Now I'm impressed, well done Howes (I will be spending more money with you for sure)
