Vigilant - Customs Cruiser - Martin, Howes & Baylis
« on: October 11, 2025, 10:08:13 am »

A good friend of mine is looking for a MHB Vigilant Customs Cruiser to build, preferably he would like an un-started kit, we appreciate this is a long shot, but they do appear from time to time, so if you know someone with an un-started MHB Kit or a partially started MHB kit, please do get in touch, thank you

rare but beautiful kits.......hard ones to follow and find.

a lot of their stuff was sold to keen modellers on the other side of the pond,

Thank you everyone for the private emails and information, offers of unstated or part built steam boats are always welcome and appreciated.

I saw my friend Stuart last night, and with your help, Stuart is now the proud owner of an unstarted kit of Vigilant, its on its way to him via a courier as we speak, he is very happy, so thank you one and all, your efforts have produced a lovely find.

Congrats on finding a MHB Vigilant for your friend Stuart. I thought I had the only one left. I guess I am one of the buyers "across the pond". I also have the Steam Plant exclusively for the Vigilant by Martin Baylis. I purchased the package back in 2014, but it just sat. I think I am past the skills required to do a first class on this masterpiece. I will be posting ads in the future for sales so if any interest, please message me.
