River patrol boat

hi
i was surfing the other night and saw this kit from a supplier in the states,

looks like an interesting subject,
has anyone seen it here in the UK?

I saw a couple of those built at Warwick over the weekend, looked very nice. I am sure I have seen an article regarding these craft. There is always the Brown Water Navy web site, very interesting the site is maintained by people who used these craft during the Vietnam conflict.

does anyone know if a large saclae kit is available say 1 to 16th or 1 to 12th ?

i have seen this before- need to start saving !!,

mmmm 1 to 12... nice.......

but dragon do some lovely figures at 1 to 16th...1 to 16th  this would be an awesome scale to build at too !

Sorry, I don't know of any off the shelf plans that are available for the MK2 PBR.

I got a Tamiya Plastic model and scaled all the hull and other dimensions off that together with the specs for the original boat with line drawings off the tinterweb.
You might try The Floating Drydock of the U.S.A they have a few of the more unusual plans ?

Hope this is of some use.
