Fairmount Alpine Rubbing Straiks
« on: August 25, 2012, 04:52:30 pm »

I am in the process of fitting stryne strip  on the hull that represents wear/rubbing straikes wher the blue diamonds are  and I want to cut the middle one out of sheet because it has to have a slight curve in it so when it shapes round the hull all the strips look pararell. I have made a template out of lotak masking tape ,the problem I am haveing is keeping  both sides even   cutting free hand has not give an even curve is there any thing out there that cuts with two cutters to give an even cut  Thanks for the help.

You could construct your own twin cutter by mounting two Stanley (other makes available) blades on a block so that they are at the distance you require
