hi pete how do they run with those motors?,bet you need to watch spilling nitro in the plastic hulls? or did you seal them with epoxy to protect them thats what i was considering doing.

nitro does'nt seem to affect them at all and i had them before the gas boats.
they go ok but they are no record breakers.

an 18 or a 28 would be too big in the windspeed.

hi mate yea the .28 bit was a joke but id think the .18 would be ok maybe a .15 would be better but theres not much diff size wise between them.theres some nice priced .15 and .18 marine motors arround ,ive yet to see a.12 motor as cheap.

while the .12 ran in it fine the .18 just overpowered it and was un controlable it srewed out all over the place when a certain speed was reached so i put the .12 back in it.

i tried quite a few props and the end conclusion is that the hull will only do a certain speed without becoming unstable.

its the same hull design as the v24 boat or similar hust on a smaller scale so id say it will handle a fare bit of speed but ill give it a go and see.handles chop well  seems pretty stable, maybe a glass version would be better ,bit heavier etc.
