Bassin trials for a french cotter
« on: November 19, 2007, 06:58:42 pm »

hello everybody,

Instead of HMY Britannia, I started the construction of a french pilot cotter, the H21, from le Havre.

1m long, 5.5 kg displacement.

The picture of the first bassin trial.

No slow or fast flooding!  O0

Sweet.

It would be really nice to see a build log in scale sail if you get the chance.
I have plans for a French Bautier I will do in 2008.

How to fabricate a part of the ballast. 1.4 Kg of lead, glued on the keel, with as consequence a bigger draft of 1.5 cm. Invisible in the bare eye.

The nest job will be the bowsprit and the planking of the deck.
