HELP - Boat Terminology
« on: November 26, 2007, 10:58:59 am »

Just a Quickie,

Is there a thread on the forum that explains boat Terminology. I have worked on aircraft for the best part of my life and get a little confused with some terms used.

I have been monitoring Ripsliders thread on how to build a complicated model (very interesting) but sometimes I have no idea as to which part of the boat they are referring to ??? ??? ???

Thanks Martin

here is one I did not find in your list. Bow-definition, the pointy end where the fences meet. we use to say that to the dibs, it drove them nuts.
