I was able to find some time to work on my Tsekoa, as my workload was delayed....thank you R.M. >:(
I have been working on the exhaust stacks, the kit versions are in white metal so the idea was to hollow them out, well after a disasterous atempt to drill them out :'( I decided to make them all out from evergreen plastic tubing, and the end result was a much cleaner version...ahhhh. The front escape hatch has had some attention to it in the form of hinges, handles, and made to be removable as this will hide the on/off switch. The side boxes that are just left of the doors had to be made from scratch, the kit versions are just square blocks of metal with no detailing, so my version was built from evergreen plasticard, and the rivets made from sequin pins cut down to size. The mast detail is almost finished now, just added the side cables and grab handle. The roof has had some supports fitted to the top and below edge, not that you going to see it unless you crouch down..still it's there. The last thing which is not finished yet is rear drain pipe.
