I am glad to report that I went along to Llanberis for the weekend. See there report site. There was 2 Makaras there, mine and a new member from Wales called Gary.
The good folks & boaters was surprised at how fast they go.
We are now planing to return next Aug 09.
How about some more Mad Makara Men joining in the fun?????????

Hi Bill i saw the pics looked like a good weekend pitty i couldt get there the boat looked good nice lake too,by the way guys just to let you know ill be producing some glass fibre radio boxes pretty soon to fit 5" rails ,with a perspex lid anyone interested let me know cheers.I can also produce tank trays for your tank to sit in using elastic bands to hold tank in place just epoxy the tray in or silicone.Heres a pic of a radio box  its shallow one end deeper at other but i can make them same depth all over too.Heres a pic of a tank tray same as the ones ill be making too, could be made any size.

Hi Mart long time no here. I hope all is well with you and yours.
My boat was flying at Llanberis. It is nice to have so much water to open her up on and keep on going. Have done loads of work over the summer. change the engine to a Tuned Zen, fitted 2.4 Ghz radio gear, change the ex pipe to an 26 cc MHZ pipe instead of the MHZ 50cc pipe which i started with. All of which has made the boat run better in its own way. It's a pity we are nearing the end of the race meetings.
Oh well best get off.
Cheers now

Hi Mart
When you are ready to produce these to sell on, please put a posting in our 'Traders Section'. Even though you are not a full time trader you will get a better response there. We are tryiing to keep all the stuff people might want to buy in one place. If you like you can think of it as the Mayhem shop window.

They're all too busy repairing worn out boats after Penzance, Bill!
Obviously some good racing.
