Help for Heroes
« on: December 19, 2007, 10:14:36 am »

I recently received a newspaper clipping from my mother showing the interest Jeremy Clarkson has shown in "Help for Heroes", this was the first I had heard of this new charity http://www.helpforheroes.org.uk/

Headley Court has a wonderful reputation and I have personally seen the results they obtain after my best friend lost a leg in the Falklands.

As we approach Christmas I would ask that you take the time to read through the link and if you feel able, donate.

Many people have "put it on the line" and "gone beyond the call" to enable us to enjoy the life and freedoms we do and we should honour all that have served by taking and giving the best care to those who have sacrificed more than just their time.

A wonderful organisation. How sad that it has to exist though. as a Nation we certainly are getting our priorities wrong.
