That is similar to "SAINT MUNGO" The Glasgow Council owned Cleansing Boat...
It is used to lift all the rubbish out of the River Clyde in Glasgow....

I have pictures of her underparts & she is nothing like a Springer....But would make a good Springer model anyway...

As Hugh Laurie would say.

One cheapo radio controlled construction digger, replace bucket with soldered brass cage.
Rip off the chasis, strap a springer to its a55 and bob's your uncle.

I thought I would post a couple of pictures of my new springer. This is the one that will have the working bucket, as the boat is going to be different I thought I would change the rear so as you can see no solid skeg and no bottom support for the rudder. I also rounded the front of more a bit like the original. Other than that construction and size is the same as my others, if it does not rain tommorrow I will give it a dust with some undercoat
