Assuming it is the mark VII and not the markXII you wanted.

You might be able see enough on these fuzzy drawings

As an ex Gunnery Instructor, Mark VII, single mounting, hydraulic, one man powered by turning the handles. Mark IX mains electric powered from ship's supply, Mark IX* electric powered from batteries on the mounting, Mark V twin barelled electric powered, Mark VI six barelled electric powered, if my fading memory is correct! {:-{ :(( {:-{

A friend of mine is building Droxford which was fitted with a MkV111  Bofors . No information what so ever. If Dicky can come up with any information on that one he'll have a friend for life.

I suspect that the Naval Base museum at Devonport has one outside plus maybe one at the Explosion museum at Gosport?

Hi! What a wonderful job you have done on the MK V11 Gun Model, what is your scale? I have next to make a Mk V111 Bofor and it has to be at a 1/38th Scale and I am struggling for Plans of it to fit onto my Model of HMS Maxton which I am building. Have you any Idear  where I can obtain any "PLANS" as John Lambert has drawings of the Mk V11 but not the Mk V111, you will find Photos of the Mk V11  on the "Ton Class Association Web Site". Keep up the good work.
Kindest regards Bill

On naval matters, including weapons, are you aware of this site?     http://www.dockmuseum.org.uk/archive/index.asp
