the jocks or anyone for that mater
« on: January 26, 2008, 10:40:04 pm »

hi billy and Norry also anyone else that likes to be impressed by large scale models don't know if you know but peter Fitz (willowgar th) has commissioned an SD14 cargo ship to be built at a scale of 1/32 this means the thing will be 14 foot long . he has planed a launch on the 6th of June at ashton park on the wirral anyone interested should contact him. this is going to be a one off ceremony in the style of a proper launch should be good  also could martin possibly help him with a build page when ready (just a thought)  ;D

Is it going to be "manned" at that size ?   A real launch down a slip I hope ? Sounds great. All sorts of tugs standing by I`ll bet. Martin, a build page for this `un?

no not manned but powered with drop bollards. yes a large slip is being constructed as we speak and six tugs on the job with at least two standing by with monitors working

shame we can't tow the invincible again that was the best thing i have ever been involved with just brill

If it really is as special as you plan it to be, why dont you do a website of its own?
Im sure there will be loads of interest, certainly enough to cover internet costs if you offer to advertise companys who are supporting you.
