Hi all,

I have a constant problem that is not going away?

My Thunder Tiger Neptune is suffering from some sort of electrical problem in that whilst in the water under forward motion it cuts out now and again momentarily but on dry land i have no problem, both motors are fully suppressed, i have changed the supplied speed controller to a Mtroniks Viper and i have routed the reciever aerial away from all power leads and main battery is fully charged at 12.80 volt.  As anyone else had this problem with a sub? It only cuts out for a second or two and then starts up again but only when surface and submerged running

Many thanks

Russ

Have you done a range test/check?

When i started to have problems down the lake i pulled the sub out and stood it on dry land and walked 20 odd metres away and it did not cut out?

Could you have a broken wire (inside the insulation) that makes and breaks when the boat is in motion?

They are a b****r to find (speaking from experience with an old car)

Just a thought

Cheers and good luck
