Ark Royal returning home
« on: February 09, 2008, 12:45:54 am »

If anyone's interested, there's an open day on Saturday 9th.

Chance to say hello to the old girl before the Indians tear it to bits in a few years time.

Enjoy.

No I think the names are HMS Queen Elizabeth and HMS Prince of Wales.

On another note its been announced that Babcock Thorn at Rosyth has been awarded the contract to finally assemble the large modules of the carriers into one ship at Rosyth and they have just awarded a £20m contract for the rebuilding of one of the dry docks into a suitable size
