Mornin' All

Has anybody been on one of the trips from Liverpool Landing Stage to Salford Quays on the Royal Iris / Daffodil yet?

Not been myself, but my family went a few weeks ago and came back with loads of photographs of various tugs that are moored along the route - all very interesting.

Shipfinder General is a member of the Society running this scheme and has enrolled us too.? We're looking forward to the trip.

Regards, Malc

Done that trip 100's of times, I used to work as a deck officer for Manchester Liners (now defunct), used to hate the 'ditch', from what I've seen of it lately the water is clean (no ships!!!!) and it is a pleasant run, you want to go for it, take a camera, loads of tugs especially at the Eastham and Stanlow end.

Hope you can post a few photos of tugs, etc if you go - bit far away for some of us!
