« on: May 07, 2008, 06:50:08 pm »

I bought a cd today, one that I used to own on vinyl 35yrs ago, and havent heard for probably 30 yrs.

I put it in the player, turned it on, and could sing along with the music and words like it was only a few days since i heard it last.!  Wierd or what?

Ian

PS. It was a Traffic album

Wierd or what?"

Nah - what is weird is how weird is spelt with the 'e' before the 'i'. Goes against everything they taught us at infant school.
Now't wrong with Traffic, neither.
Did you know Status Quo were toying with the idea of calling themselves The Traffic Jam? Traffic's people got on to Quo's people and said "no-no, guys!".

Fascinating folly, eh?

Nice one, 'madman. I clean clear forgot all about that band until you mentioned it.

No, Ghost, the M25 was singled out by Chris Rea - The road to hell!

Thats right Gary - the album I listened to is 'on the road - live'
includes, shootout at fantasy factory, and, low spark of the high heeled boys.

I heard that Chris Rea and Dire Straights were going to merge once.

The Band was going to be called Chris Straights. Well they couldn't call it Dire Rea, now could they. :o ::) :)

Tiger Tiger,

Where do you get them from,

Brilliant.

As for Traffic.......Never heard of them but now I know why.....They are from the mid sixties when I was a big Moody Blues fan.......Now that was and still is a great band..

I think you need to de-frag your hard-drive and empty the wastebasket!
