tale from Mrs Bluebird

Model boats  {-) MUST BE sung to William Tell overture

by Mrs Bluebird  :D :D

Model boats, model boats, model boat, boat, boats
No home D.I.Y. - just model boats
What motor or power pack shall I use?
It won’t work now as there is there a fuse
Use MFA Como Drills, Knocked me coffee over, no not more spills
What speed controllers shall we try - Read up on every type that you can buy
Electronize or ACTion I’m not to boast –
But ACTion are delivered in the next days post
Have a check on Mayhem while the glue dries
Model Dockyards' choice brings tears to yer eyes
Build a War time boat with a tale to tell
It’s looking good, but will me planking swell
There are plenty of maritime models to be seen
See boats at Weymouth, Shesto or even a submarine
Double plank, prop shafts and accessories
Receivers I will try one of these - a Yacht kit yes please
Robbes’ kit, Billings’ kit or a scratch built hull
Wait a minute I can’t think ‘cos me brains in a lull
Can’t get anymore models cos the room is full
This hobby of mine, there’s a lot to be said
I just can’t get model boating out of me head
These DIY jobs can wait I titter
As I check the MHZ on me owld transmitter
Jelly cells, props and shafts and extension leads
Winch sail arms they all come to please
So to all of you who like to build to scale
It’s a modellers’ world so listen to me tale
I’m glad I am part of the Model Boats clans
Cos I enjoy making models and collecting plans
So all of us get on our coats and go and sale
OUR kit made MODEL BOATS

Thank the lord for Model Boats……

Great stuff Mrs Bluebird but I fear Mr Bluebird may have a lot to answer for. Cheers Graham.  {-)

Your lucky is wasn't this she sang:-

I cooked your food, I cleaned your house
And this is how you pay me back
For all my kind, unselfish loving deeds? Huh?
Well, you just wait--they'll find you yet
And when they do they'll put you in the
RSPCA you mangy mutt!
And,

They're coming to take you away, ha-haaa.
They're coming to take you away, ho ho, he he, ha ha,
To the funny farm, where life is beautiful all the time
And I'll be happy to see those nice young
Men in their clean white coats and

They're coming to take you away, ha-haaa!
To the happy home with trees and flowers and chirping birds
And basket weavers who sit and smile
And twiddle their thumbs and toes
And they're coming to take you away, ha-haaa!
To the funny farm, where life is beautiful all the time
And I'll be happy to see those nice young
Men in their clean white coats and
They're coming to take you away!
