G'day Ron.

Just a quick one, once again you have shown another modellers ship, do you actually know anyone that builds crap like most of us...

Ah ha.  Sort of thought that's what it could be.  After we'd laid out a couple hundred feet of hose we always had to clean it and put it back.  They must be between tankings.

Absolutely beside the point, need any mildish acidic stuff to clean with?  Hang up a wet rubber lined hose and collect the 'water' that drains out of it.  Not sure what kind of acid, but it'll take the paint off if you get any on a vehicle (or your clothes).  Think it's sulfuric, rubber has sulfur in it...

Well Ron I am going to give it a dammed good try, I am buying a kit and documenting what and how and when it is done I will post it on here and see what sort of reaction I get, but don't expect it for a while as I am going to make sure that it is a very good job...

If anyone else is thinking of building "Gold ROVER" (not "Gold RANGER) I have many detail photos of her taken during her 1986 Plymouth refit. I could scan and post via snail mail if req'd. Bryan Young.
