Which semi-scale fast electric?

(1/2) > >>

flag-d:
I'm looking for my next project.  Ideally I want a fast electric semi-scale kit, something styled as a class 1 offshore race boat rather than a fast pleasure cruiser.  Twin motor and twin surface drive.  Which is faster, props or jet-drives?  Not really after a RTR, more a kit or semi-kit type thing.  Anyone any ideas?

First thing is how big is your lake, second - how much do you want to spend ?

Andy: Big and nothing (of course!).  The lake is pretty big and I do have the sea also.  As to how much to spend?  Well, several hundred I suppose, in total.  I have radio gear already.  I'm not looking to race, just have a bi of  blast around really!

It's a HydroMarine hull and hardware www.hydromarine.de ,Hacker brushless combo's
Heres an idea off costs, the boat without R/C and cells

Boat                   150
Hardware            210 (without props)
Decals+Airscoops  45
Motors 2off         300

This is all approx prices, depends on the euro and p&p's
I buy all my Hydromarine stuff from www.gundert-modellbau.de, he speaks good English
and payment is easy, no worries about bank transfers, he takes credit cards.
If you would like to send me your email address I can send you pic's and more details.
