Correct forum/category for a steam yacht build thread?
« on: April 07, 2008, 06:53:49 pm »

My next R/C project after the steam tug is finished will be a 19th century steam yacht in 1/48 scale (a medium-sized ocean-going vessel, not a small river steam launch). I already have the hull and R/C gear done, but have resolved to not do any actual "modelling" work until the tug is 100% complete!

My question is, what would be the correct sub-forum or category to post the build thread in? "Sports + Pleasure Craft" is mostly fast motorboats, "Yachts" is all sail, and "Steam" seems to be intended for "live steam" models (my model is electric powered)

I think I would be inclined to put it in "Tugs, Trawlers, Lifeboats, Police, Work, Passenger Vessels, etc.".
If the moderators dont like it there they will soon move it.
Come to think of it, seeing as I suggested it they will probably move it anyway.  ::)

Paranoid again Richard? You should know better!

Perfectly good advice.  Edward, we'll look forward to seeing the build.
