twin motors

(1/1)

modelboater17:
can anyone tell me why one motor would run slower when both are free running in their shafts when both motors are the same and both using their own speed controller which are the same and using twin sticks thank you

White Ensign:
No matter how often an motor will be produced: There will be always some small differences in exactment, material or electronical items which lead to a range of power. The motors are charged in the center of the power-range, but there are differences allowed i.e. 5% plus or less of power. If a motor is nominated with 20000 rpm and he has just 5% difference to the others, then it will be 1000 rpm difference. Or the resistance in the rotor is different, the ferrit in the stator-magnet...a.s.o....

Hope that was out of any help,
Jörg
