Coal barge
« on: April 06, 2008, 04:28:34 pm »

Needing something to tow and push with my springer and inspired by Jim Clarks build in Marine Modeling I decided to have a go at building a coal barge
It has been built with shuttering ply, bits of our old bed, scraps of brass, plasticard, chain and cord from B&Q, rattle cans from local car shop and coal from my workshop stove.
It has had it's second wetting today and is good fun to push around with the springer.

Below will be some photo's if I can manage to upload them

Absolutely brilliant.  Just to have something to pull around gives your tug a whole new dimension.
