Anglia Marine Model Boat Club.

We are primarily a "scale" r/c model club. Boats range from "plastic magic" to 8 foot battleships via just about all points in between!

We are based in the Northampton/Wellingborough area and have the use of a local pond.

The A2MYC was established in 1987 to promote R/C Model Yacht Racing, and activities. We sail Fairwinds, Seawinds, One Meters, Victorias, and Open Class Sailboats. Club regattas are held once a month. Black Park is near to Slough, Berkshire, England. The usual sailing days are Sunday and Thursday. Most types of model boats are catered for and its not unusual to see sailing boats sharing the water with steam and electric. IC powered craft are not allowed by the park authorities.

Bridlington Model Boat Society has exclusive use of Carnaby Lake, its own 90 x 80 metre club water which is available for sailing all year round. We have a membership of over 100 who participate in most model boating activities, these range through scale electric, steam, yachting, fast electric and IC power which includes a multiracing section. The Society is affiliated to the Model Powerboat Association which enables members to compete at other clubs regattas in addition to our own club and open events.
