Midwest Mark VI "add ons"

Greetings from the Ozarks, USA:  Some years ago I built the Model VI engine by Midwest.  Not too long ago I ran across a model boat forum where someone posted several ideas and additional components for improving the the engine.  My knowledge of steam power and machining skill is limited, but some of the improvements looked like they might be within my capabilities.  My problem is I can't seem to find the post again!  Does anyone here know if it was this forum or some other?  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks in advance!
