Lights, Sound, Action (Steam)
« on: June 06, 2008, 09:44:55 pm »

Back again !

After a brilliant weekend sailing Valhalla (after 4 years from completion we finally put her in the water and found a new inspiration).

Two more coasters complete and ready for sailing (time to pull our fingers out - more sailing and less Stella me thinks !)

About to start the build of new model from Mountleet "Boston Typhoon".

Although we have spent a bit of time looking for the above we really want the works with this one (lights, sound and also steam) we wondered what the latest news and views are ?

Any assistance in obtaining the best product would be most appreciated.

Thanks for any assistance !

I have just finished building the Boston Typhoon and found her an enjoyable build. I also fitted her with lights and sound and steam and spared no expense to achieve a super looking model.

I should be interested to know how you get on with the build. Please keep us informed, and if you have any queries I should be only to pleased to be of assistance. The Drawings do leave a little to be desired and I found the guys on Mayhem to be a great help in filing out the blanks.  O0

ps ... I do have the complete build on 'You tube' if you want to see what's ahead.  ;D

Cheers

Thanks for the replies.

I think we used Action before but I hear a lot of good press so we will be sure to check them out before we start.

Kenny your build progress is brilliant and we really enjoyed the you tube movie.

We just updated our web site with some new images of Valhalla in the water and a you tube clip.

Thank you for the compliments. I can see the similarity with our models. I liked your 'Movie' and noticed she sailed similar to mine. (a little tilt on the corners). Probably happens because they are long and thin ships.

Have fun building the next one.
