Where to download sounds?
« on: July 08, 2008, 10:46:37 am »

Hi

In my Yorkshireman tug, I have a sound module with space for 2 MB sound. The module can play sounds following the motor speed and also make cranck and stop sounds.....
I got 25 different sounds together with the sound module, but none on them are good to this model.

Do you have a suggestion where I can download some good quality sounds for my tug and sounds ranging from idle to full speed?

BR,
Tom

The USM-BN from BEIER-Electronic, works very well.
I need sounds in Wav, AVI, MP3 format, then I can convert it to the module

Will upload a video soon with the sound  :)

we buy in sound effects for work in wav format- anything from big bens chime to sounds of seagulls, trains and station announcements...but i know they do loads of stuff  including engine sounds sirens, horns bells and whistles.... also ray guns, lasers and sci fi sounds !!!!

the firm we use is called ' natural habitats' - i guess a google search will find them.......

if not when  i get back to work i can hunt the details out for you

the only thing is we buy the sound files along with a licence to replay for public broadcast and they're not cheap.... but they are good... i guess you dont need the licence for public broadcast !

I've got a few sound clips I recorded while on the G L Furr. See if you can use any of them.
