back in Scarborough

After a long absences R>C is back in Scarborough  at Northstead Manor Lake :D {-) sum will be there Sunday after 1800 hundred hours then Tuesday & Friday same time

Hi, now that's good news, I haven't sailed in Scarborough since we all used to go down to the Mere many years ago. That was before the council priced modelers out of the area. Let us know how much interest you get and I will get there when I can, I'm usualy still at work at 1800.

Good news

Is this the pond which is on the footpath that takes you from Peaseholme park to the North bay sea life centre passing the cable cars and the open air theatre ??
If so I have often walked past there thinking it would make an excellent model boat club sailing area.

My dad has a caravan at Filey, I'll bring my 1/3rd completed tug with me next time I'm up there, if that's OK?
Do you meet every Sunday, Tuesday and Friday?

Sorry lad forgot i put this on sailing has stopped for winter as the lake is to be emptied for the referb of open air theater reopen again around April or MAY next year. We got a good few boats on the water will Post again when we start 2009 had a good few weeks there and if enough start to go the coffee bar will be open for us. The management at the lake seems to want use to be there
