It's time you were back at work instead of playing about with computers at this time of day and not to mock the afflicted.
It's only us O.A.P. s that have this sort of time.

Roger from France was looking for info about HM Sapper, lost with all hands in December 1917.

There's some info and a photo at http://www.wrecksite.eu/wreck.aspx?79727

Lots of detail on page 321 of Ships of the Royal Navy by J.J.Coolidge

Even more detail in Section 3 of Volume 2 of Shipwrecks of the British Isles by Richard and Bridget Larn.

Roger, my great uncle was one of those who died on this ship - Tem Lieutenant Henry "Harry" Jones. What was your relative's name?

I'm reworking a started Model Slipway 10 hatch coaster on which someone made a basic start.
Also have a Ripmax 'ready to run' Perkasa which arrived as a mangled heap of bits - damaged in transit sale item, which is about complete... AND....
I have a Model Slipway 'Drumbeat of Devon' kit to start, kindly sold me by No 6.

Now all I need is 10 weeks or so off work!!!!    :}

Good morning Peter. The tray is made from some old perforated sheet material that was scrapped at work just before I retired. I am not sure exactly what it is but it very tough to cut and seems to have corrosion resistance as it had been lying around for ages. Cheers Graham

now that i've finished the Clyde lifeboat for the Loch Ness Charity sail, I have had my orders for the following two models.

the first is a charity build of a Sea plane tender based on an ST200, called FLYING CHRISTINE, and was the St Johns Ambulance boat based in Guernsey which began 60 years ago next year.
I hope to haver it finished and over in GUERNSEY for their celebrations next year.
she will be built as in the magazine, and will be a trip back to my roots.......i haven't worked in wood except for making plugs in years.

the second model has been commissioned by my 14 year old daughter, and is therefore again, a charity build, lol.

it's of a modern CALMAC Ferry, Loch Riddon, which is a twin voith propulsion driven boat.........hopefully she will be helping me, lol %% %% %% %% {:-{ {:-{ {:-{

Just received the SS Talacre kit which I bought on eBay at a very good discount on the retail price :-))

Its another Calder Craft, which I keep saying I wont build again, but the hull looks pretty good and it has a full-size drawing this time. I understand from some research on here that the bridge is shown the wrong way round on the plans - will have to remember that when I get there O0
