I know this thread is in the general model boat section, and the subject isn't a general model boat, but i have been working on this for a couple months now:

Take yourself from my immediate vicinity in any direction as long as it's away in short sharp jerky movements!!!!

(a) Vladyka Sea Star
(b) Still modifying my Neptune
(c) Canal barge
(d) Gentleman's river launch

Is it submersible?

It's a Delta deep sea research vessel, similar sort of boat to the Neptune.

A Fleetscale Dido Class Cruiser with the Hull work started and openings cut out.

And just took delivery of an M15 M by D Hull that I couldnt resist starting to make a rudder for today.

SS Ohio, temporarily on hold, awaiting a flash of inspiration and scale drawings of all the guns.
Nautilus, final details externally before I assault it with paint.
Type VII U-Boat, awaiting internals hooking up.
Keeping two display boats working and armed up once a month.
And my new, mad, 1898 Ottoman Navy Torpedo Boat, recently swapped for a pristine Aerokits Patrol Torpedo Boat, scratch building bits and about to stuff a brushless motor in it.
Plus, re-painting a Doctor Who K9 robot dog, and helping 'someone' with his Type VII U-Boat.
And being Team Secretary.
And not swearing at everyone when they ask if I can build, or help to build their models.....

Hi I am building the Smit Nederland, (about 1/2 finished) & I have just started the Model Slipway Tamar life boat which I am still collecting information & other stuff for. I am enjoying both but summer is my busy work time & am tired in the evenings & don't want to make mistakes. I have taken some pictures & hope to put them on the forum real soon. Mick B.

I haven't a clue what to build next.....................any ideas and thoughts along the lifeboat line though would be appreciated and if it tickles my fancy I'll do some research.........not modern though,!! i.e. post Tyne class...........not really into those. Want something that no one else builds. %% %% %%
cheers.

Ground to a juddering halt at the minute, due to the onset of rheumatoid arthritis (hands like claws, fingers like a pound of Wall's finest) Can't drive the car at the moment, so I can't get to the lake anyway, and if I could get there, I couldn't carry my Neptune and I'm having trouble holding the tx.

If this is old age...I want my ball back.
