I wouldn’t exactly say it’s turning into a silk purse but it’s a bit better than the sows ear I thought it might be when I opened the kit box!

Just finished the Crusader and have been given this model some trial runs.   Running on 24 volt and a 90mm ducted fan.   Very difficult to obtain true planing position as the centre of gravity of the model is extremely difficult to achieve.

A bit more than moving batteries forward and backwards in this model.

One from the Glynn Guest plans - and I am putting the finishing touches to the electrics now.

Never built a lifeboat before now.

Hi - having a go at MTB Bloodhound - I am using the Marine Modelling International free plan from April 2009 as the basis and then using more information from John Lambert's book 'Coastal Forces' and also MP Cocker book 'Coastal Forces vessels of the Royal Navy 1865' .

Slight deviation from the instructions in the magazine; they use balsa wood for the framework and thin plywood for the skin; I have reverted to 4mm lite ply for the frames and diagonal Obechi planking, covered with an exterior mahogany planking - that is the plan anyway  :D .
