Lovely job there.

I think of all my models my favourite is still my Envoy class tug.  Nice model, handles great on the water, loads of room in the hull and with a 12v 7ah battery goes for hours.

Interesting that you have used a Buhler.  Mine has a geared Hectaperm in it which does the job but it does make a bit of noise.

Hi

Thanks for the comments
I use the Bhuler motor because they are very efficient they are 24 Volt and 12 pole, on 12 Volt it does 1550 Rpm as is deadly quiet and very responsive to the speed controller inputs
I have never run it on 24 Volt because of the Voltage limitations of speed controllers i know there is one on the market that will take 24 Volt but I dont really like it but I am quite happy with 12 Volt
I also have a smoke generator fitted to the Envoy and it looks great with the smoke belching out, as you say it is a super tug.

Regards

Hi
Thanks for the reply

The smoke unit I use is a modified Hunter Systems I can send you details of the mod if you like, it works incredibly well and as you increase the throttle the smoke increases as well.

What a fine looking vessel she is!
How big is it, in the picture with the back of your car in it looks hugh, the tug that is!
Is it built from a kit or plans?

Nice!
