Vintage Hydrofoil

Hello,
                I bought this model a couple of days ago from a local modeller,I spent a day painting and making it look like a fast patrol boat for my son to sail .I have ran it this morning and  much to my surprise it ran really well on its original 540 motor and a 6cell nicad.I am after some more information from others who have built this model and any performance upgrades.
